Holla Waterfalls: A Scenic Journey through Nature's Cascading Beauty
Flowing from the mountains surrounding Korem and Lake Hashenge, a river meanders through a valley east of Korem town, creating three stunning waterfalls in succession. Visitors can embark on a picturesque walk from Korem football field, following the river’s path. After a 30-minute stroll, the first and smallest waterfall welcomes you. A short 100-meter descent brings you to Holla Kelebet, a captivating waterfall formed through a circular stone hole, known for its unique "ring-shaped hole" (15m in diameter). Continuing downhill for another 300 meters, the grand finale reveals the third and most breathtaking waterfall, an 80-meter cascade with three dramatic falls. While this final waterfall offers a spectacular sight, it requires careful navigation down a steep slope. Holla Waterfalls is an unmissable natural wonder that promises an unforgettable adventure for those seeking both beauty and challenge.
